Color Inc. started in Des Moines with 5 employees in 1955 and has since grown to maintain an average workforce of 50 painters year round.

Color Inc. was purchased by Allied Construction Services in 1971, and has gone on to become the largest painting contractor in Iowa. Color Inc. offers a wide range of services that includes Commercial Painting, Sandblasting, Intumescent Coatings, Wall Coverings, SNAP-TEX fabric wall panel systems, and Duroplex wall finishes.
